My Sheepadoodle pups will need grooming for life, so we start dryer desensitization early. I pair mealtime with a high-velocity dryer running at low intensity and a distance, gradually building volume and proximity as pups stay relaxed. Dryer = good things happen. Small manageable challenges that build confident, resilient adult dogs.
